Marco Garau


Biographical Sketch

Marco Garau works on a smart mobility and smart trasport project born from the collaboration between the Department of Transportation Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Cagliari.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering in November 2015 and he’s today a grad student in master degree in Telecommunications Engineering.

His research field concerns the application of IoT to Smart Mobility, in particular, he focuses on use of short-range communication technologies and software technologies as a tool to facilitate the use of public transport and to encourage citizens to choose sustainable travel modes.
